Overview

These are just some of the basics of spin bowling. In order to become a good spin bowler you must know and understand that how you grip the ball, your run up and momentum, wrist angles and positions at release will all work together to create the perfect spin bowl.

You must also understand that there is no single unitary method that will help you become a better spin bowler, one of these parts is not more or less important than the other, they are all equally applicable to how you bowl.

Additionally, there is no right or wrong technique when using each of these methods, what matters is the result. An effective spin bowler will be able to adjust his technique to suit the situation and the batsmen.

Remember, these are just very basic overlays of different variations of spin bowling, there will be more detail in the weeks to come so stay tuned
