Activate Academy
Description
The Activate Academy represents a program that provides high indvidual and group coaching for players all year round. Combining the best one on one coaching with practice against others at the same level through group sessions players recieve the ultimate training experience. As part of the program players are able to access the Activate Cricket Centre to make use of the bowling machines and the fitness training area at times when other programs are not booked.
Academy Components
As a member of the Activate Academy players are able to access a range of programs and activities:
> Combination of one on one coaching and group training against high level players (25 hours)
> Invitation to attend 1 Activate Accelerate Program (12 hours)
> Invitation to attend Winter Training Squads (20 hours)
> Academy sqaud holiday training sessions (14 hours)
> Access to use fitness area at centre (subject to availability)
> Access to use Activate Cricket Centre for training with other Academy members (subject to availability)
> Activate Academy Tracksuit, Training Top and Shorts
> 10% off all items in the Activate Shop
Reporting
Players will recieve a quarterly report on their performance highlighting the areas that require further development . This review is an interview process including parents.
Cost
Number of coaching hours: Minimum of 72 hours
Total cost: $3000 (including GST)
Cost per hour: $40 per hour
Coaches
All coaches that are involved in the Activate Academy are Level 2 accredited through Cricket Australia and have vast amounts of experience in the instruction of developing players. Players will be assigned to one coach for the individual sessions but will be exposed to number of different coaches over the course of the program through the Winter Training Squads and Activate Accelerate Program.
